FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions couples ask before they apply.

Who can come?

Couples and single women over 18. We do not invite single men.

How are guests chosen?

You join the invitation list, then send a short introduction and recent photos when a party is announced. A real person reads each one. We choose for a good mix and good manners, not for a particular look.

Do I have to use my real name?

No. A first name or an alias is fine. We never ask for your real name, and your ID is checked at the door only to confirm you are over 18.

What happens to my photos?

They are seen by the selection committee and by the organizers in your city, only to choose the guests. They are never published and never shared with anyone else, including other guests. Ask us any time and we delete them.

How often are there parties?

Parties are announced to approved guests by email. That email is the only place dates and venues are published.

Is it expensive?

The contribution for each party is in the invitation email. It covers the venue, the drinks and the team on the night. Single women are usually asked for less.

What if we only want to watch?

Watching is welcome. So is just talking and dancing. Nobody is expected to do anything.

Is this connected to Rope & Candy?

Yes. Rope & Candy is our sister organization in Europe. The same people, the same rules and the same invitation list.

Where do I start?

Read the first-timer's guide, then apply for an invitation.

Want an invitation?

Parties are private. Every guest is chosen by hand from the applications.
